Strength Training Program
The DFW Express Offseason Baseball Conditioning Program will help your son or daughter improve their base of strength and stability so that they can move more efficiently and powerfully while decreasing their injury risk during the rigors of spring and summer baseball/softball. The program will be 3 weeks long in January (weeks of: January 7th, 14th, & 21st) with three 1 hour sessions each week on Tuesday/Thursday nights and Saturday mornings.
The following components will be included in each session:
· Dynamic Warm-up
· Arm care
· Speed, Acceleration, & Agility
· Power & Strength
· Cardio, Conditioning, & Friendly Competitions
We will perform baseline testing on the first day and follow-up testing on the last day to measure improvements in speed, strength, power, and movement abilities. Each player will receive an individualized progression of exercises throughout this program, as well as recommendations for managing their throwing regimen outside of this training program. Our ultimate goal is to help your son or daughter improve their performance on the field while developing a stronger, smarter work ethic off the field. Pricing will be $249 for the entire 3 week program (9 sessions), and scheduling will be finalized by January 5th. Avery Sullivan is a former collegiate RHP at Texas Wesleyan University and current Master’s student at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he is doing his thesis research with 3D pitching biomechanical analysis. Avery is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Titleist Performance Institute Certified, and ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and he has experience coaching and working with youth, high school, and collegiate baseball players.
Avery has a passion for helping athletes improve their performance by giving them the tools to train smarter and more efficiently, while keeping the training environment fun but challenging to fuel their desire to compete and succeed on and off the field.
